I dont like to miss this idea,

that wE ARE GOOD PEOPLE,

To my friends they called me by my name Rey. these friends are few but they can always count on me..;
i have some interest in jotting down nice thoughts ;


Some people are sometimes annoyed by my attitude..because im silent and a loner..thats why only few friends will like to be my friend. i don't have much energy to shop and roam around the city i don't go for long celpon phone conversation;
am not good at directing but some people misunderstood me as a kind of "isrikto" ... but actually gusto lang ko mobawi sa mga times nga naghilohilom lang pud o ug way pakialam..and i believe that things that are done in good faith will still reap good results . it is not my intention to be a leader of the family or pasikat pero gibuhat ko lang ang unsay maayo ug unsay akong ika contribute .. .. or maybe i just love the freedom of expression ..;


and actually i always like to learn new things , i love that my loveones will be happy because i know its the most right thing to do.. personally, i dont go for sweet coffee.. i like black coffee with a creamer ;

Top 5 Foods to Lower Cholesterol

1. Oatmeal, oat bran and high fiber foods
Oatmeal contains soluble fiber which reduces low density lipoprotein (LDL) or the 'BAD' cholesterol.Soluble fiber also found in such foods as kidney beans, apple, pears, barley and prunes. 5 to 10 grams or more soluble fiber a day will decrease the total LDL.

2. Fish and Omega-3 fatty acids
Eating fatty fish can be a heart-healthy because of it's high level of omega-3 fatty acids,which can reduce blood pressure and risk of developing blood clots.Doctors recommend eating at least 2 serving of fish a week.
The highest level of omega-3 fatty acids are:
   ** MACKEREL
   ** LAKE TROUT
   ** HERRING
   ** SARDINES

You should bake or grill the fish to avoid adding unhealthy fats.If you don't like fish you can also get a small amount of omega-3 fatty acids from foods like ground flaxseed or canola oil.

Walnuts, almonds or other nuts can reduce blood cholesterol. Rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids,walnuts also keep blood vessels healthy.According to DFA eating 1.5 ounces or 42.5 grams a day of most nuts such as almonds,hazelnuts,peanuts,pecans,some pine nuts,pistachio nuts and walnuts may reduce the risk of heart desease.Just make sure the nuts you eat are not salted or sugar coated.

4. Olive oil
Olive oil contains a potent of mix of antioxidant that can lower 'bad' (LDL) cholesterol but leave your 'good' (HDL) cholesterol untouched.The DFA recommends using about 2 tablespoon (23 grams) of olive oil a day in place of other fats in your diet to get it heart-healthy benefits.To add olive oil in your diet,you can saute veg. in it, add it in a marinade, or mix it with vinegar as a salad dressing. You can also use olive oil as a substitute for butter when basting meat or as a dip for bread.Olive oil is high in calories,so don't eat more than the recommended amount.

5. Foods with added plant Sterols or Stanols
Margarines, orange juice and yogurt drinks with added plant sterols can help reduce (LDL) cholesterol by more than 10%.The amount of daily plant sterols needed for results is at least 2 grams.

Potassium & Chronic Kidney Disease:

When kidneys fail they can no longer remove excess potassium,so the levels builds up in the body.High potassium in the blood is called hyperkalemia. This may occur in people with advanced stages of chronic kidney disease.
Some of the effects of high potassium (hyperkalemia) are:

   * weakness
   * numbness or tingling
   * slow pulse
   * irregular heartbeat
   * heart failure
   * sudden death
For people with stage 5 CKD (also known as end stage renal disease or ESRD) dialysis is necessary to help regulate potassium.Dialysis is very effective at removing excess potassium from the blood.Between dialysis
treatment,however,potassium levels rise.Because of this,high potassium food must be limited so potassium levels do not get too high before the next treatment.High potassium (hyperkalemia) is likely to occur when dialysis treatment are skipped or shortened.Missed treatments allow potassium to build up to dangerous level in the blood.This can lead to irregular heartbeats and even cause the heart to stop beating.

Know your potassium level:
Your potassium level should be checked regularly.Ask your renal dietitian or doctor about your potassium result.Checking your potassium level will guide your healthcare team to help keep your potassium in a safe range.
