The family of Merlyn Ursos in San Carlos , Negros Oriental have kept this picture... all of them except Lola Nena did not know her..they did not see her in person... but the families of ursos in Negros kept this picture because they knew this pix is very special to their grandfather...
that picture is Nanay Rosita Ursos Penaso of Davao city...
she is the sister of Sergio ursos of Calatraba, Negros....
some have heared his name... but they have never seen his face...
In truth.... Sergio ursos is from Popoo and Tagaluahan Basiao Bohol
the son of Itay iyong and inay juana...
he became a US navy during the great war...
many years after the war... he went home
and he found out that most of his family are instill tact..
still alive after the war... and all are in Popoo and Basiao
except... his brother Amando ursos was in Davao
But Benjamen Ursos was missing...
He went everywhere... to find his brother
only to find him at Calatraba of Negros
Benjamen was preaching th word of God
bring him his bible.....
It was in Calatraba...
the eyes of Sergio fall upon the beauty
of nena viilaflor... and he married her
he went to settle at negros
until he died... with his wife

Like nanay Rosita Penaso... all the Ursos of Negros did not know who is the picture ?
but because she was one of the few kept by Lolo Sergio ursos
all the Ursos of Negros respected to keep the picture even after the death of Lolo sergio

Amando ursos, Marcaino ursos and benjamen ursos were the first
to organize the place and became a civilization...
because Taglikid in 1950s... is generally a forest , the Ursos families
were the first to develop the place until it became..a beautiful place
where the Ursos can call their own place.....
where the ursos children can run free......
in that picture ..were the children of Marciano ursos ( the red team - of dikoy Ursos clan)
who came from Popoo and Tagaluahan Ubay Bohol and they settled at Taglikid
they named it TAglikid...kay mag ligid ligid gyud ka sa kadanlog..
it shows that Ursos are music lovers..even at the onset of our age...
generally all Ursos are like that... trained from the start
